1.000 vacancies for free online course that prepares young people for the job market

Instituto PROA arrives in Paraná and opens 1.000 vacancies for a free online course that prepares young people from public schools for the job market

Young people from all over the State of Paraná, coming from public schools can apply for the selection process.

The PROA Institute has arrived in the state of Paraná and registration is open for its online and free preparation for the job market. There are a thousand vacancies aimed at young people from 17 a 22 years who completed high school in public schools.

The selection process for the PROA Platform course is open until 8 may. To sign up, the young person needs to enter the site and go through three moments: first, the young man registers, then responds to a basic Portuguese language test, Mathematics and Profile Analysis and, if approved, proceed to the stage of filling in personal data in order to enroll in the course.

The course has 100 hours and is divided into 4 modules that prepare students to set career goals and do well in job interviews: Self knowledge, Professional Project, Logical Reasoning and Communication. There are 7:30 classes per week, about 1h30 a day. There are also weekly meetings mediated by tutors, always on Wednesdays.

At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of completion and access to job openings available on the market.

After completing the essential training of the course, young people can choose to attend the technical trails available and further enhance their professional curriculum. They are 7 careers of choice, sponsored by large companies, com 50 hours of preparation for each: Data analysis (sponsored by iFood), Retail (Via – Casas Bahia Foundation), Administration (P&G), Logistics (P&G), UX Design (Accenture), Brand Promotion (BRF) and Financial Education (Bloomberg e Dahlia Capital).

According to a survey carried out by IBGE, not 2nd quarter of 2022 the youth unemployment rate of 18 a 24 years in the State of Paraná was 12,6%, triple compared to adults. Generally, the youth unemployment rate is higher than the adult unemployment rate because young people generally have less experience and qualifications, what makes them less competitive in the job market.
